Membership

In order to enjoy membership privileges, an owner of property within Linn Valley Lakes shall establish membership rights by presenting to the POA Office a recorded legal document showing ownership (deed).  Recording this document with the Linn County Register of Deeds conveys to Linn Valley Lakes that you agree to Linn Valley Lakes Covenants and Restrictions, ByLaws, Policies and Ordinances.  Upon receipt of this legal documentation, change of ownership is made in our records, and gate cards will be assigned.

Association Meetings

The regularly scheduled Executive Session of the Board of Directors time is 8:00am on the third Saturday of each month. The Board will step out into private session to discuss any personnel (human resource) or legal (potential litigation) matters as warranted. Federal and state regulations revolving around the Privacy Act mandate these matters not be discussed in public. The General Meeting session begins at 9:00am. Board Meetings are held in the lower level of the Clubhouse.

Severe Weather

Linn Valley does not have any designated storm shelters.  During severe weather the bathhouses my be used as an alternative shelter, the Pro Shop is also an alternative shelter during normal business hours.  Once a Tornado Warning is issued for Linn County and surrounding counties, in addition to using the bathhouses for alternative shelter, the Linn Valley Fire Department will also unlock the Clubhouse for shelter in the lower level.  

Lot Development / Architectural Committee

All property owners are required to obtain permission, via a Building Permit, from the City of Linn Valley before any clearing of trees or development is done on their lot or common property. Forms are available at the POA office or via City of Linn Valley website.   The permits need to be returned to the City of Linn Valley.  They can be dropped off or emailed to Jenny Schooler. Linn Valley City Hall is located on 2400 Road east of Linn Valley Lakes.

The Architectural Control Committee meets at 6:00pm on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the clubhouse.
